English Translation
Abdullah narrated to us: My father narrated to me: Yahya ibn Ghaylan narrated to us: Rishdin narrated to us, from Zabban, from Sahl, from his father, from Muadh, that he asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about the most excellent faith. He said, 'That you love for the sake of Allah, hate for the sake of Allah, and keep your tongue occupied with the remembrance of Allah.' He said, 'And what else, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'And that you love for people what you love for yourself, and hate for them what you hate for yourself.'
