حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ الرَّاهِبِ عَنْ كَعْبٍ قَالَ لَأَنْ أَزْنِيَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ زَنْيَةً أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ آكُلَ دِرْهَمَ رِبًا يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ أَنِّي أَكَلْتُهُ حِينَ أَكَلْتُهُ رِبًا.
English Translation
Waki' told us, Sufyan told us, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Rufay', from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, from Ibn Hanzalah ibn al-Rahib, from Ka'b, who said: That I commit fornication thirty-three times would be more beloved to me than that I eat a dirham of usury, Allah knowing that I ate it as usury when I ate it.
