English Translation
Abu Amir told us: Hisham, meaning Ibn Sa'd, told us, from Uthman ibn Hayyan al-Dimashqi: Umm al-Darda informed me, from Abu al-Darda, who said: 'I have indeed seen us with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on some of his journeys, on a very hot day of intense heat, to the extent that a man would put his hand on his head from the severity of the heat, and there was none among the people fasting except the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and Abdullah ibn Rawahah.'
