حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ وَدِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَأَحْسَنَ الْغُسْلَ ثُمَّ لَبِسَ مِنْ صَالِحِ ثِيَابِهِ ثُمَّ مَسَّ مِنْ دُهْنِ بَيْتِهِ مَا كُتِبَ أَوْ مِنْ طِيبِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يُفَرِّقْ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ عَنْه مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ فَذَكَرْتُ لِعُبَادَةَ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ صَدَقَ وَزِيَادَةَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ.
English Translation
Yunus told us: Layth told us, from Muhammad — meaning Ibn Ajlan — from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id, from his father, from Abdullah ibn Wadi'a, from Abu Dharr, from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Whoever washes on the day of Friday, performing the wash well, then wears the best of his clothes, then applies from the oil of his house whatever has been provided for him, or from his perfume, then does not separate between two people, Allah will expiate for him what is between him and the next Friday." Muhammad said: I mentioned this to Ubada ibn Amir ibn Amr ibn Hazm, and he said: "True, and an addition of three days."
