حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَشِّرْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ بِالسَّنَاءِ وَالرِّفْعَةِ وَالدِّينِ وَالنَّصْرِ وَالتَّمْكِينِ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يَشُكُّ فِي السَّادِسَةِ قَالَ فَمَنْ عَمِلَ مِنْهُمْ عَمَلَ الْآخِرَةِ لِلدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ نَصِيبٌ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ أَبِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ هَذَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَخُو عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْقَسْمَلِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ عَنْ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ.
English Translation
Abdur-Razzaq told us, from Ma'mar, from Sufyan, from Abu Salamah, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, from Abu al-Aliyah, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Give this nation glad tidings of eminence, elevation, religion, victory, and establishment in the land" — and the narrator was uncertain about the sixth quality. He said, "Whoever among them does the work of the Hereafter for the sake of this world will have no share in the Hereafter." Abdullah said: my father said that this Abu Salamah is al-Mughirah ibn Muslim, the brother of Abdul-Aziz ibn Muslim al-Qasmali. Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Muqaddami told us, Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman told us, Sufyan al-Thawri told us, from Abu Salamah al-Khurasani, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, from Abu al-Aliyah, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the like of it.
