حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْمَلِيحِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَيْتٍ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَقْبَلُ صَلَاةً بِغَيْرِ طُهُورٍ وَلَا صَدَقَةً مِنْ غُلُولٍ.
English Translation
Abu al-Malih narrated from his father that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying in a house: 'Indeed Allah, Mighty and Sublime, does not accept prayer without purification, nor charity from ill-gotten gains.'
