حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُجَاشِعِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذَا مُجَالِدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ يُبَايِعُكَ عَلَى الْهِجْرَةِ فَقَالَ لَا هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَلَكِنْ أُبَايِعُهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ.
English Translation
Mujashi' ibn Mas'ud said: I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, this is Mujalid ibn Mas'ud who has come to pledge allegiance to you for emigration (hijrah).' He said: 'There is no emigration after the conquest of Makkah, but I will accept his pledge for Islam.'
