English Translation
Isma'il told us, from Yunus, from al-Hasan: that Ma'qil ibn Yasar fell ill, and Abdullah ibn Ziyad came in to visit him. He [Ma'qil] said: "I will now tell you a hadith I had not told you before. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)" - or "Indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said" - "Allah, Blessed and Exalted, does not entrust a servant with a flock, and he dies on the day he dies while being a betrayer of them, except that Allah forbids Paradise to him."
