حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا بَهْزٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلَّذِي يُحَدِّثُ فَيَكْذِبُ لِيُضْحِكَ بِهِ الْقَوْمَ وَيْلٌ لَهُ وَيْلٌ لَهُ.
English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, Bahz informed us, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Woe to the one who narrates and then lies to make the people laugh with it; woe to him, woe to him."
