حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا ثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ ثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ قَالَ إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ عَن أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ أَخْبَرَهُ عَن أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخَيْمَةُ دُرَّةٌ مُجَوَّفَةٌ طُولُهَا فِي السَّمَاءِ سِتُّونَ مِيلًا فِي كُلِّ زَاوِيَةٍ أَهْلٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ لَا يَرَاهُمْ الْآخَرُونَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ ثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ ثَنَا قَتَادَةُ وَذَكَر نَحْوَهُ آخِرُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ وَهُوَ آخِرُ مُسْنَدِ الْكُوفِيِّينَ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad and Affan told us, they said: Hammam told us: Abu Imran al-Jawni told us: Abu Bakr - and Affan said: from Abu Bakr ibn Abdullah ibn Qays al-Ash'ari - informed him, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The tent is a hollow pearl, its height in the sky is sixty miles; in every corner there are people for the believer, whom the others do not see." Abd al-Samad told us: Hammam told us: Qatadah told us, and he mentioned similarly - the end of the hadith of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, and it is the end of the Musnad of the Kufans.
