English Translation
Abd al-Samad told us: Thabit told us: Asim told us, from Abu Mijlaz, who said: Abu Musa led his companions in prayer while he was departing from Mecca to Medina, and he prayed the Isha prayer as two rak'ahs and gave the salutation, then he stood and recited a hundred verses from Surat al-Nisa in one rak'ah. This was objected to, so he said, "I have not failed to place my feet where the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, placed his feet, and to do as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, did."
