حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ يَخْطُبُ حَدَّثَنَا الْبَرَاءُ وَكَانَ غَيْرَ كَذُوبٍ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا صَلَّوْا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ قَامُوا قِيَامًا حَتَّى يَرَوْهُ قَدْ سَجَدَ فَيَسْجُدُوا.
English Translation
Affan told us: Shu'bah told us: Abu Ishaq said: [Someone] informed me, he said: I heard Abd Allah ibn Yazid deliver a sermon: "Al-Bara' told us"—and he was no liar—"that when they prayed with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he raised his head from bowing, they would stand upright until they saw that he had prostrated, and then they would prostrate."
