Arabic (Original)
قَالَ وَكَانَ يَأْتِي نَاحِيَةَ الصَّفِّ إِلَى نَاحِيَتِهِ يُسَوِّي صُدُورَهُمْ وَمَنَاكِبَهُمْ يَقُولُ لَا تَخْتَلِفُوا فَتَخْتَلِفَ قُلُوبُكُمْ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الصُّفُوفِ الْأُوَلِ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ.
English Translation
He said: He used to come to the side of the row, going along it, straightening their chests and shoulders, saying, "Do not differ, or your hearts will differ." He said, "Allah and His angels send blessings upon the front rows." And he used to say, "Beautify the Qur'an with your voices."
