حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَهْوَنَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ عَذَابًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَرَجُلٌ يُوضَعُ فِي أَخْمَصِ قَدَمَيْهِ جَمْرَتَانِ يَغْلِي مِنْهُمَا دِمَاغُهُ.
English Translation
Muhammad b. Ja'far told us: Shu'ba informed us, he said: I heard Abu Ishaq say: I heard al-Nu'man b. Bashir, while delivering a sermon, saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "The lightest of the people of the Fire in punishment on the Day of Resurrection is a man who will have two burning coals placed on the soles of his feet, from which his brain will boil."
