It was narrated to us by Isma'il ibn Umar, who said: it was narrated to us by Dawud ibn Qays, from Sa'd ibn Ishaq ibn Fulan ibn Ka'b ibn Ujrah, that Abu Thumamah al-Hannat narrated to him, that Ka'b ibn Ujrah narrated to him, saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "When one of you performs ablution and performs it well, then goes out intending the prayer, let him not interlace the fingers of his hands, for he is in a state of prayer."
