حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ أَسْمَائِكُمْ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ.
English Translation
Waki' told us, my father told us, from Abu Ishaq, from Khaythamah ibn Abdul Rahman, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Among the best of your names are Abdullah and Abdul Rahman.
