حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ ضَمْضَمِ بْنِ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَوَّلَ عَظْمٍ مِنْ الْإِنْسَانِ يَتَكَلَّمُ يَوْمَ يُخْتَمُ عَلَى الْأَفْوَاهِ فَخْذُهُ مِنْ الرِّجْلِ الشِّمَالِ.
English Translation
Al-Hakam ibn Nafi' narrated to us, Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from Damdam ibn Zur'ah, from Shurayh ibn 'Ubayd al-Hadrami, from someone who told him, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, that he heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "The first bone of a person to speak on the Day when mouths are sealed will be the thigh of his left leg."
