حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عُشَّانَةَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُكْرِهُوا الْبَنَاتِ فَإِنَّهُنَّ الْمُؤْنِسَاتُ الْغَالِيَاتُ.
English Translation
Qutaybah narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from Abu 'Ushanah, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do not dislike having daughters, for they are the ones who bring comfort and are precious."
