حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ أَصْبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا طَيِّبَ النَّفْسِ يُرَى فِي وَجْهِهِ الْبِشْرُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَصْبَحْتَ الْيَوْمَ طَيِّبَ النَّفْسِ يُرَى فِي وَجْهِكَ الْبِشْرُ قَالَ أَجَلْ أَتَانِي آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَقَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ صَلَاةً كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ وَمَحَا عَنْهُ عَشْرَ سَيِّئَاتٍ وَرَفَعَ لَهُ عَشْرَ دَرَجَاتٍ وَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ مِثْلَهَا.
English Translation
Surayj told us: Abu Ma'shar told us, from Ishaq ibn Ka'b ibn Ujra, from Abu Talha al-Ansari, who said: One day the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, arose in a good mood, with cheerfulness apparent on his face. They said: "O Messenger of Allah, you have arisen today in a good mood, with cheerfulness apparent on your face." He said: "Indeed, one who came to me from my Lord, Mighty and Majestic, said: 'Whoever among your nation sends blessings upon you once, Allah will record for him ten good deeds, erase from him ten bad deeds, raise him ten degrees, and return the like of it to him.'"
