English Translation
He said: 'Abd al-Wahhab informed us: Sa'id informed us, from Qatadah, from Mutarrif ibn 'Abd Allah, from his father, that he heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say — and he says: The son of Adam says, 'My wealth, my wealth,' yet do you have of your wealth anything but what you ate and thus consumed, or wore and thus wore out, or gave in charity and thus made pass on?
