English Translation
He said, Hushaym told us, from Ibn Abi Khalid and Zakariyya, from al-Sha'bi, who said: Urwa ibn Mudarris informed me, who said: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was at Jam' (Muzdalifah), and I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I have come to you from the two mountains of Tayy; I have tired myself and worn out my mount. By Allah, I have not left any mountain without stopping upon it — so do I have a valid Hajj?' He said, 'Whoever attends this prayer with us' — meaning the Fajr prayer at Jam' — 'and stands with us until we depart from it, having already come from Arafat before that, by night or by day, then his Hajj is complete, and he has fulfilled his duty.'
