English Translation
Abdullah narrated to us: Mus'ab b. Abdullah al-Zubayri narrated to us: Abd al-Aziz b. Muhammad b. Abi Ubayd narrated to me, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from Sa'id b. Khalid al-Qarizi, from Rabi'ah b. Abbad al-Dili, who said: I saw Abu Lahab at Ukaz, following the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying, "O people, this one has surely gone astray, so let him not lead you astray from the gods of your fathers." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would flee from him while he followed on his heels, and we followed him, being boys. It is as if I can see him now: cross-eyed, with two braided locks of hair, the fairest and most handsome of people.
