حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ جَرْهَدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى جَرْهَدًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَعَلَيْهِ بُرْدَةٌ قَدْ انْكَشَفَ فَخِذُهُ فَقَالَ الْفَخِذُ عَوْرَةٌ.
English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us from Abu al-Nadr, from Zur'ah ibn Muslim ibn Jarhad, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saw Jarhad in the mosque wearing a cloak that had uncovered his thigh, and said: The thigh is [part of the] private area.
