English Translation
Al-Hakam ibn Nafi' told us, saying: Isma'il ibn Ayyash told us, from Salim ibn Abdullah, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqil, who said: Aqil ibn Abi Talib married, and he came out to us, so we said, "May it bring prosperity and sons." He said: "Enough, do not say that, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade us that, and said: 'Say, "May Allah bless you, and bless you further, and bless it for you."'"
