حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ دَعُوا النَّاسَ يُصِيبُ بَعْضُهُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ فَإِذَا اسْتَنْصَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَنْصَحْهُ.
English Translation
Abd al-Samad told us: My father told us: Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib told us: Hakim ibn Abi Yazid told me, from his father: My father told me that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Leave people be, so that they may benefit from one another; but when one of you is asked for sincere advice by his brother, let him give him sincere advice."
