حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ وَحَسْنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وِجَاهَكَ حِينَ تَدْخُلُ بَيْنَ السَّارِيَتَيْنِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi and Hasan ibn Musa told us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah told us, from Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, from Uthman ibn Talhah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered the House [the Ka'bah] and prayed two rak'ahs facing the direction you face when you enter, between the two pillars.
