English Translation
Affan told us, Salim ibn Hayyan told us, Sa'id ibn Mina' told us, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "My likeness and your likeness is that of a man who kindled a fire, and moths and grasshoppers began falling into it while he drove them away from it; and I am taking hold of your waist-belts to pull you back from the Fire, while you slip away from my hand."
