حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أُنَادِيَ أَيَّامَ مِنًى إِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ فَلَا صَوْمَ فِيهَا يَعْنِي أَيَّامَ التَّشْرِيقِ.
English Translation
Sa'd reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) commanded him to announce during the days of Mina: 'These are days of eating and drinking; there is no fasting in them' — meaning the days of Tashriq.
