English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us: al-Thawri informed us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by a donkey that had been branded on its face, its nostrils smoking, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever did this - let no one brand the face, let no one strike the face."
