English Translation
Sufyan told us, from Amr: I heard Jabir say: A man said on the day of Uhud to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, "If I am killed, where will I be?" He said, "In Paradise." So he threw down some dates that were in his hand and fought until he was killed. Someone other than Amr said: "and he abandoned the food of this world."
