English Translation
Abbad ibn Abbad al-Muhallabi told us, from Hisham ibn Urwah, from Wahb ibn Kaysan, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever revives dead land, he shall have from it" — meaning a reward — "and whatever the wild creatures eat from it is charity for him."
