English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'I saw in a dream that I was waving a sword, and it broke. That was the loss the believers suffered on the Day of Uhud. Then I waved it again and it became better than it was. That was the conquest Allah brought and the gathering of the believers. I also saw cattle being slaughtered — and by Allah, it was good — that was the group of believers on the Day of Uhud, and the good was the good that Allah brought afterward and the reward of truthfulness that Allah gave us after the Day of Badr.'
