English Translation
'Affan told us, Ja'far ibn Sulayman told us, Thabit told us, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: Rain fell upon us while we were with the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him. The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, went out and uncovered part of his garment until the rain touched him. We said: "O Messenger of God, why did you do this?" He said: "Because it is newly come from its Lord."
