حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِصَامٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الشَّرَابِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَيَقُولُ إِنَّهُ أَرْوَى وَأَمْرَأُ وَأَبْرَأُ قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَأَنَا أَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الشَّرَابِ ثَلَاثًا.
English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, 'Abd al-Warith narrated to us, Abu 'Isam narrated to us, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to breathe three times while drinking, saying, "It is more thirst-quenching, more wholesome, and more comfortable." Anas said: And I too breathe three times while drinking.
