حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ بْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَيْهِ الْمِغْفَرُ قَالَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّ ابْنَ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ اقْتُلُوهُ.
English Translation
Abu Salama al-Khuza'i told us: Malik informed us, from al-Zuhri ibn Shihab, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered on the day of the Conquest wearing a helmet. It was said to him, 'Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtains of the Ka'ba.' He said, 'Kill him.'
