حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً دَعَا بِهَا لِأُمَّتِهِ وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
English Translation
Ja'far ibn Awn told us: Mis'ar informed us, from Qatada, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Every prophet has a supplication he made for his nation, and I have saved my supplication as intercession for my nation on the Day of Resurrection.
