حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبِي أَنَسٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ و حَدَّثَنَاه قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ أَبِي أَنَسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ تَمَارَى رَجُلَانِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي أُسِّسَ عَلَى التَّقْوَى فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا هُوَ مَسْجِدُ قُبَاءٍ وَقَالَ الْآخَرُ هُوَ مَسْجِدُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هُوَ مَسْجِدِي هَذَا.
English Translation
Musa ibn Dawud told us, Layth told us, from Imran ibn Abi Anas, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id - and Qutayba also told us this, Layth told us, Imran ibn Abi Anas, from Ibn Abi Sa'id al-Khudri, from his father, who said: "Two men disputed about the mosque that was founded upon piety from the first day. One of them said: 'It is the mosque of Quba.' The other said: 'It is the mosque of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.'" So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is this mosque of mine."
