English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us: Sufyan informed us, from Zayd ibn Aslam: 'Iyad ibn Abdullah ibn Sa'd ibn Abi Sarh narrated to us, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, he said: "We used to pay the charity of Fitr in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, as a sa' of barley, a sa' of dates, a sa' of raisins, or a sa' of dried curd. When Mu'awiyah came, wheat arrived, and he judged that a mudd of it was equal to two mudds of the other items."
