English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us - and he was asked about three people gathering when the time for prayer comes - he said: Sa'id told us, from Qatadah, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "When three gather, let one of them lead them in prayer, and the most entitled of them to lead is the one who recites best."
