حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ مَعْبَدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ الْعَزْلِ أَوْ قَالَ فِي الْعَزْلِ لَا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ لَا تَفْعَلُوا ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ الْقَدَرُ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَنْبَأَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَخِيهِ مَعْبَدٍ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Anas ibn Sirin, from Ma'bad, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he was asked about coitus interruptus (al-'azl) — or he said, concerning al-'azl: "There is no blame on you if you do not do that, for it is only decree." Husayn told us: Shu'bah told us: Anas ibn Sirin informed us, from his brother Ma'bad, and he mentioned the like of it.
