English Translation
Isma'il told us, al-Jurayri informed us, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: We used to go on expeditions with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him; among us were those fasting and those not fasting. The fasting one would not find fault with the one not fasting, nor would the one not fasting find fault with the one fasting — they held the view that whoever found himself with strength and fasted, that was good; and whoever found himself weak and broke his fast, that was good.
