حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ عَنْ شَبِيبٍ أَبِي رَوْحٍ أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا أَتَى أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِّثْنَا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فَقَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا إِنَّ الْإِيمَانَ يَمَانٍ وَالْحِكْمَةَ يَمَانِيَةٌ وَأَجِدُ نَفَسَ رَبِّكُمْ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْيَمَنِ وَقَالَ أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةَ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَغْرِبِ أَلَا إِنَّ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَقَسْوَةَ الْقَلْبِ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ أَصْحَابِ الشَّعْرِ وَالْوَبَرِ الَّذِينَ يَغْتَالُ الشَّيَاطِينُ عَلَى أَعْجَازِ الْإِبِلِ.
English Translation
Isam ibn Khalid told us, Hariz told us, from Shabib Abu Rawh: that a bedouin came to Abu Hurayrah and said: "O Abu Hurayrah, tell us [a hadith] from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him." So he mentioned the hadith, and said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed faith is Yemeni and wisdom is Yemeni, and I find the breath of your Lord coming from the direction of Yemen" - and Abu al-Mughirah said "from the direction of the west" - "Indeed disbelief, wickedness, and hardness of heart are found among the loud-voiced camel-drovers, the people of wool and hair-tents, among whom the devils appear on the rumps of camels."
