English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'The Dajjal will come but he will be forbidden from entering the passes of Madinah. He will stop at one of the salt-flats near Madinah, and a man will come out to him — the best of people, or one of the best of people — and will say: I testify that you are the Dajjal about whom the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) told us. The Dajjal will say: What do you think — if I kill this man and then bring him back to life, would you doubt the matter? They will say: No. So he will kill him and then bring him back to life. When he brings him back, the man will say: By Allah, I have never been more certain about you than I am now. The Dajjal will want to kill him again but will not be able to.'
