190/252 عن أبي هريرة قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" أقلّ(وفي رواية: لا تكثروا/ 253)الضحك؛ فإن كثرة الضحك تميت القلب".
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah reported: The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: 'Reduce laughter' — and in another narration: 'Do not laugh excessively — for excessive laughter kills the heart.'
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ نبیصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”کم کرو“اور ایک رویت میں ہے:”زیادہ نہ ہنسا کرو، بیشک زیادہ ہنسنا دل کو مردہ کر دیتا ہے۔“[صحيح الادب المفرد/حدیث: 190]
