Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ وَنَحْوِهِمَا مِنَ السُّوَرِ .
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to recite in Zuhr and Asr Surah al-Tariq (Was-sama'i wat-Tariq) and Surah al-Buruj (Was-sama'i dhatil-Buruj) and similar surahs.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ظہر اور عصر میں «وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِق» اور «وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوج» اور ان جیسی سورتیں تلاوت فرماتے تھے۔
