Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ، قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذَهَبَتِ الأَنْصَارُ بِالأَجْرِ كُلِّهِ . قَالَ " لاَ مَا دَعَوْتُمُ اللَّهَ لَهُمْ وَأَثْنَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Muhajirun (Emigrants) submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), the Ansar (Helpers) have taken away all the reward. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: No, so long as you continue to pray for them and praise them for their favours (you too shall have your share of reward).
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ مہاجرین نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! انصار سارا اجر لے گئے۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: نہیں، جب تک تم ان کے لیے دعا کرتے رہو اور ان کے احسان کی تعریف کرتے رہو (تو تم بھی اجر پاتے رہو گے)۔
