حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُدْرِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ خَرَشَةَ بْنِ الْحُرِّ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ " ثَلاَثَةٌ لاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلاَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلاَ يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ " . قُلْتُ مَنْ هُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ خَابُوا وَخَسِرُوا أَعَادَهَا ثَلاَثًا . قُلْتُ مَنْ هُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ خَابُوا وَخَسِرُوا فَقَالَ " الْمُسْبِلُ وَالْمَنَّانُ وَالْمُنْفِقُ سِلْعَتَهُ بِالْحَلِفِ الْكَاذِبِ " . أَوِ " الْفَاجِرِ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: There are three persons to whom Allah, the Exalted, will neither speak on the Day of Resurrection, nor look at them with mercy, nor purify them, and for them is a painful punishment. I submitted: Who are they, O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)? They are indeed ruined and at loss. He repeated this thrice. I submitted: Who are they, O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)? They are indeed ruined and at loss. He stated: The one who trails his lower garment below the ankles, the one who reminds others of his favours, and the one who sells his merchandise by means of false oaths.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: تین شخص ایسے ہیں جن سے اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن نہ کلام فرمائے گا، نہ ان کی طرف رحمت کی نظر سے دیکھے گا، نہ ان کو پاک فرمائے گا اور ان کے لیے دردناک عذاب ہے۔ میں نے عرض کیا: وہ کون لوگ ہیں یا رسول اللہ! جو نامراد ہوئے اور خسارے میں رہے۔ آپ نے یہ بات تین بار دہرائی۔ میں نے عرض کیا: وہ کون لوگ ہیں یا رسول اللہ! جو نامراد ہوئے اور خسارے میں رہے۔ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ٹخنوں سے نیچے تہ بند لٹکانے والا، احسان جتانے والا، اور جھوٹی قسم کھا کر اپنا مال بیچنے والا۔
