Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ، حَدَّثَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَعْنَى مَالِكٍ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ " وَإِلاَّ فَقَدْ عَتَقَ مِنْهُ مَا عَتَقَ " . انْتَهَى حَدِيثُهُ إِلَى " وَأُعْتِقَ عَلَيْهِ الْعَبْدُ " . عَلَى مَعْنَاهُ .
English Translation
The same tradition has been narrated through a different chain from Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to the same effect as the narration of Malik. However, in this version the words 'otherwise he is emancipated to the extent already freed' are not mentioned. His narration ends at 'and the slave shall be emancipated on his behalf,' to the same meaning.
Urdu Translation
اس سند سے بھی حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے مالک کی روایت کے ہم معنیٰ روایت مروی ہے، مگر اس میں «وإلا فقد عتق منه ما عتق» کا ٹکڑا مذکور نہیں ہے۔ ان کی روایت «وأُعتق عليه العبد» کے الفاظ پر اسی مفہوم کے ساتھ ختم ہے۔
