حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُفَضَّلُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَخَذَ بِيَدِ مَجْذُومٍ فَوَضَعَهَا مَعَهُ فِي الْقَصْعَةِ وَقَالَ " كُلْ ثِقَةً بِاللَّهِ وَتَوَكُّلاً عَلَيْهِ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them both) states that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) took the hand of a man afflicted with leprosy, placed it together with his own blessed hand in the eating vessel, and stated: Eat with trust in Allah and reliance upon Him.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک کوڑھی شخص کا ہاتھ پکڑا اور اسے اپنے ساتھ پیالے میں رکھ لیا اور ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ پر بھروسہ اور اعتماد رکھ کر کھاؤ۔
