Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ رُقْيَةَ إِلاَّ مِنْ عَيْنٍ أَوْ حُمَةٍ " .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: There is no ruqyah (incantation) except for the evil eye or a poisonous sting.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: دم (جھاڑ پھونک) صرف نظر بد یا زہریلے ڈنک کے لیے ہے۔
